Checkered plastic grip panels can be swapped out with other available styles. I wanted an easy to shoot gun that looks good and this gun is exactly that. It feels solid and very well made. It is very easy to shoot/aim and comfortable to hold.

This Rugger Mark IV is excellent for target shooting it has a great feel in your hand the only change I made was to reduce the trigger pull weight to 2 1/2 lbs

I've had the MARK IV Hunter for several years and recently bought the 22/45. There are some differences but I like the 22/45 as much as my Hunter. Adding to the plus side was the price. Gun.com price was $100+ cheaper than on other sites. Will always look at Guns.com first when considering future gun buys.

I took my mark iv out today for the first time. Only ran 4 mags through it, 40 rounds. Handles well, accuracy is good. But in the 40 rounds I had 3 misfires. Using Winchester 22lr hp, which I've shot a lot of these through my other 22's and never had a misfire. So, at this point I'm pointing toward the gun for the problem. Will shoot a lot mor...Read More Read more about review stating so far just ok

A beautiful weapon. It will be used by my wife and myself in the home for an easy-to-use defense pistol loaded with high velocity hollow points (in order to make a point as it were).

It's a perfect pistol for me. 67 year old female, not wanting something big and bulky, but easy to target-practice.

I own a Ruger Mark I, a Mark III and now a Mark IV. I like them all very much. I especially like the Mark IV. It shoots equally as well as the older pistols and I can disassemble and clean it in just a few minutes. Respectfully, Roland

Fantastic pistol and fun to shoot. I love the look and feel of this pistol. Well balanced, smooth trigger, and very accurate. I've put 240 rounds through it and it has performed flawlessly. I've added a picatinny rail, optics, and replaced the grips. I like the fact that it is very upgradable.

Been a Ruger fan for years now and this newer design makes cleaning a breeze. Love the sights and grip feels just right. Trigger pull isn't too bad for stock. Great 22 pistol.

Love my new Ruger Mark IV. After purchasing I bought a venom red dot to use in competition (I’m visually disabled) and after getting it zeroed in, I shot a perfect 500! Woohoo. Handles smoothly, clearing is easy, racking a breeze and take down for cleaning is simple for this old gal. Overall I’m very pleased with my first purchase. All other guns I own have been gifts or hand me downs I can no longer use. Great plinking and fun for range play or dispatching varmints.

This is a great gun. Shoots all the ammo I've tried in it. It's accurate, easy to clean and very customizable. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the sights. I added hi viz front sight which helped alot. If you want an easy to shoot .22, this is it.

I enjoyed shooting this gun. It's got a nice handfeel, and the lightness of the .22s makes it a joy to shoot.

Love these guns and the overall style. Reminds me of ww1 and ww11 style pistols. Always was attracted and wanted one and it's a beautiful, efficient well fed and feeling grip and shooting gun. Reliable.
