Bringing the big-gun experience to the rimfire world, the Ruger Precision Rimfire is a scaled down version of the Ruger Precision Rifle that maintains the same ergonomics, trigger and manual of arms as the larger centerfire rifle. This rifle is the ideal rimfire trainer and the go-to rifle for your next rimfire match.

Other Features:

Molded, one-piece chassis and adjustable buttstock assembly are manufactured with glass-filled nylon for strength, stiffness and stability, making a solid foundation for accuracy each and every shot. Adjustable buttstock features a flat Picatinny bag rider making it easy to affix a rear monopod. A molded-in window provides a tether point for your squeeze bag, and a metal QD pocket makes it easy to secure a sling.
Quick-Fit adjustable Precision Rimfire stock allows length of pull and comb height to be quickly and easily adjusted to get proper fit over a wide range of shooter sizes, outerwear and shooting positions. Indicating marks molded into the chassis help you quickly return to a previous position.
Big-Gun bolt throw adjustment enables shooters to change from a rimfire 1-1/2″ bolt throw to a short-action centerfire 3″ bolt throw, reducing the chance of short-stroking your bolt in competition.
Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger is externally adjustable, with a trigger pull range of 2.25 to 5 pounds; wrench is stored in a buttstock compartment.
Ruger’s own AR-Pattern pistol grip and safety selector provides an extended reach for maximum control and access to the 45°, reversible safety selector. May be configured with most AR-style grips and selectors.
Anodized Picatinny scope base includes 30 MOA elevation for increased long-range capabilities out of the box.
Oversized bolt handle for positive bolt manipulation (same as the Ruger Precision® Rifle).
15″ aluminum free-float handguard is black hard-coat anodized aluminum and features Magpul® M-LOK® slots on all four sides for improved scope clearance for long-range scopes and easy mounting of M-LOK-compatible rails and accessories.
Target barrel is cold hammer-forged from 1137 alloy steel to create ultra precise rifling for excellent accuracy. Barrel can be replaced easily by a competent gunsmith using AR-style wrenches and headspace gauges.
1/2″-28 threaded barrel for standard muzzle accessories, like the Silent-SR® suppressor, comes with a factory-installed thread protector covering both the threads and crown.

Great trigger. Consistently accurate. Great for those shooters interested in this style of rifle and caliber. Not really ideal for a plinker unless you just enjoy using a bolt between shots. But, for those more interested in making every shot count and precision shooting, it's a solid choice. If you want to knock a squirrel out of a tree at a hundred yards, many choices available. If you want to shoot the squirrel's eye out a hundred yards... this rifle's among those that can do it.

inexpensive to feed so much fun to shoot could only be better if i lived some where that didn't limit magazine size

Not only a good shooter, it has a curiosity factor that will make you lots of new friends at the range.

Great rifle. Very accurate even with a cheap Nikon optic. I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest replacing the tiny mag release lever with a M2A (Mongoose 2 Actual) extended mag release. I put one on this rifle and then added the same part to all 3 of my Ruger 10/22s. It's that good! I've found that other aftermarket mag releases are weak, not long enough, or change the motion away from what would be intuitive for novice Shooters. But this rifles is my go to plinker, and sees a lot of use. It's incredibly … Read More

Love it. First time out I was a bit disappointed by the grouping, but knew it needed to break in; second time out it was better, third time out still better- my best 10 round grouping at 50 yards my buddy say "you could cover that with a quarter"- so I tried and he was right. I am consistently ringing steel at 200 yards- need to upgrade my scope to one with a reticle for range compensation now. Highly recommended!

I received this rifle from Grabagun in 3 days. Got a Leupold VX 3-9 scope and installed it carefully. I did use Wheeler level kit to do the alignment. Took the rig to the range yesterday to zero it. it was pretty close right off the bat, shooting a little high and right. after zeroing at 50' (indoor range) i was able to easily shoot less than 1" groups even though both the rifle and me were new at this. it seemed like federal target ammo performed better than aguila. cleaned the rifle today and will return to the range. i'm impressed.

Accurate right out of the box. Mag release lever hard to operate, recommend after market extended release.

Excellent rifle! Now, after 100+ rounds, I can say that this rifle is more accurate than I am at the moment. My hopes are to be able to improve to the point I was when I was in my teens. The reason I bought the RPRR was that now, in my 70s, I'm getting back into the shooting sports. I'm especially enjoying punching holes in paper at longer ranges. Shooting .22s is a lot cheaper than shooting my other long guns. I'm going to enjoy this for quite a while. Two minor glitches

Best range plinking 22LR out there! Super accurate and well made. One of the best toys for the range and varmints.

Very accurate. With a good scope, at 25 yards, it shoots almost in the same bullet hole, at 50 yards, in a dime sized area. Nice package for the money - 18" threaded target barrel, picatinny rail and m-lok handguard, adjustable stock and a cheek riser, great adjustable trigger. Comes with 2 Ruger 10/22 10 round magazines. Fully disassemble and clean the rifle after purchase, adjust tension on all action screws with a torque wrench, and align the handguard, and it will shoot fantastic.

After looking through several reviews online including .22plinksters, I decided to make the purchase and so far it has been one of my most reliable and accurate rifle I've ever owned. After zeroing in this gun with a Vortex Sonora 4-12X scope, this gun effortlessly hits metal targets. I had no issues cycling every brand of .22lr in the market from cheap bulk ammo to nicer quality rounds. The cool features about this gun is that it uses AR-15 pistol grips and shares the same rotary magazines as

Spent a bunch trying to get my 10/22 shooting well and expected to continue to spend more to get there...Purchased a RPR from SW. Turned the trigger to the lightest setting and after cleaning it and adding a bipod I went to the the range.. With three different brands of ammo I found the gun shoots consistently within an inch at 50 yds.....Fed AutoMatch, Remington, and Blazer..all rather inexpensive ammo. I am pleased with the rifle and had no issues whatsoever, all ammo cycled w/o

I shot a friend’s RPR, and had to have one. Got mine and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent accuracy. Still evaluating which ammunition it likes best. Only issue I had was information on specs and owner’s manual said it came with a 30 MOA rail. I preferred a 0 MOA rail, so I ordered one. When I received the rifle it had a 0 MOA rail, so now I have two

The RPR rimfire is the most accurate, most versatile, and best trigger out of the box I’ve ever seen.

Out of the box and zeroed in at 50yds with 6 rounds. Final 3 shot group 1/4" dead center. Yes, all 3 were touching. Using 17 grain Hornady V-Max. Couldn't ask for anything more. Great firearm.

Received and fired my new 22LR, and what a dream. It performed as advertised. Tac driver for sure. It was everything I expected.

I used a Vortech crossfire 1-4 -24 and sighted in at 25 yds. then went to metal targets out to 75 yds. the targets were painted white so that you could see where the bullet struck. where the crosshairs where aimedthatswhere the bullet made a dark mark.this rifle is Great !!!!! I recomend this rifle to anyone.

My first rifle and I was looking for something that the kids could eventually get into. This is a great rifle, I could not be more pleased with how easy it is to use, configure, and customize.
