2 years agoLove the capacity, accurate and moon clips are great for quick reloading. Grips sucks replaced with a good g10 set.

2 years agoFirst off, Grab a Gun is a great place to get a great deal. I have purchased several Smith and Wesson revolvers from them. Every Smith and Wesson revolver I have ever owned, purchased from GaG and other sources, has had some issue or another. Three of them have had extre canted barrels. In the past, this hasn’t been a serious problem due to Smith and Wesson’s great, complementary, lifetime service guarantee. 2 years agoSmooth trigger. Accurate. Heavier than my R8/327, that’s to be expected. It’s about as heavy as the Ruger Super GP100.

2 years agoThe 627 is a good looking revolver. For a Performance Center revolver the tigger pull is way too heavy. The cylinder latch is next to impossible to release the cylinder. My other regular S&W (not Performance Center) pistols are much better than this 627. The revolver will be going back to S&W or a qualified gunsmith. Not a happy camper.

2 years agoThis was my 3rd gun bought from Guns.com. Each experience was excellent. Delivery was prompt and convenient. I finally took the 627 5 to the range. I love this weapon. This is my first revolver. It was a joy to shoot. I thought there might be a learning curve, but I found it easier to get comfortable with than my 9 mm semi-automatics.

1 year agoI'm reaching out to Smith & Wesson to discuss resurfacing this gun. There are some surface imperfections with the finish on this gun.
